there have been numerous bugs in MakeMKV/mkvtoolnix and the like over the. I recall seeing it with The Hunger Games, Source Code, and a few others. 2) it was able to play my UHD of Rogue One to my android TV without any. But I have NEVER seen that with any Disney or Pixar films. And the reason was that it was only available on Greenland - and nobody there wanted to sell it to me - and in the Greenland embassy in Denmark (and the guy who was going to buy it for me forgot to when he was over there). There IS a copy-deterrant method whereby there are multiple titles, with some of the scenes doubled, out of order, and/or missing. They might still contain the same video and main audio contents. It is also possible that there are two different titles that are essentially the same, but one contains a full set of subtitles for multiple languages, or alternate (foreign language) soundtracks, or chapter designations, and the other doesn't. Typically there will be only one playlist that matches the exact film time. Then going through the playlist to find the one that match the exact film length. So far the only way Ive been able to determine the correct MPLS is to match the chapter sequence as played by my PS3. I use HD-DVD/Bluray stream extractor, but there are others like ClownBD (right in this forum) that will automate the process as well. (For example, see Tangled - in which the "wanted" posters are displayed in different languages depending on which language is selected for playback.) Here is what I do with MakeMKV: I first play the movie in regular BD playback software and write down the exact length of the film and chapter counts. dugg914, you can use eac3to (in the command line: eac3to d: where D: is your bluray drive) and it will show you the mpls files youll need to use with TSMuxer. I didn't mean to imply that there was a difference in signage with this particular title only that it is usually the case with Disney and Pixar titles when there are two or three different versions. and then I used makmkv to extract that one only. can you reference a comparison of time into the movie where the signage is different? Also, be careful, I heard that they can re-arrange the order of scenes in the mutliple version MPLS file. The disc has two main titles, both have the 3D video stream, the first one is 41,3 GB, the latter one is 41,2 GB. The method I described above (not mine BTW), is the perfect starting point.
